Email Safety

Email is an important part of our daily lives, along with using the Internet; both of these require guidelines to follow in order to protect ourselves.


Email Safety:​

  1. Email used while in school is intended to support educational functions.
  2. Never open an email that you are unsure of the sender.
  3. Never send any sensitive information through email.
  4. Use filters and anti-virus software.
  5. Always log out 
  6. Change your passwords often


Internet Safety

Internet Safety:

  1. It is important for families to discuss appropriate use of the Internet and to set expectations for the kinds and types of materials that are acceptable for viewing.
  2. Schools can and will monitor student behavior at any time, as students should not expect privacy while using school networks.
  3. All students must take responsibility for appropriate and lawful use the Internet.  
  4. Students must not attempt to disrupt technological services or data integrity by engaging in inappropriate activities.
  5. Schools grant use of the Internet to students as a right and it may be rebuked at any time.
